A Gymkhana signature, this is a dairy-free marinade made with garlic sauteed with Kashmiri red chillies and tomatoes. This tangy warming versatile rub is suitable for all seafood, meats, and vegetables. Lasooni translates to Garlic in Hindi and is the major flavouring of the marinade, hence the name.

HOW TO USE

This is the marinade used to cook our Lasooni prawns, which is made with browned garlic, Kashmiri Chillies, and spices, as well as fresh plum tomatoes. For the best results, we recommend using prawns or chicken.

Prepare your produce and place it in a large mixing bowl. Whisk the marinade to get it to a smooth texture. Mix until the produce is completely covered in the marinade. Cover the bowl and leave it at room temperature for 15 minutes (2 hours for best results). Place your produce in the oven and cook until done.

Serving Suggestion: Drizzle with melted butter and serve alongside our Tandoori Red Onion Chutney.
