Rachel and Pascal Kerbiquet started Domaine du Bouchot back 1985 and were one of the first to convert to organic viticulture in the region. While Sancerre has been getting most the plaudits for the pinnacle expression of Sauvignon Blanc, it’s neighbour Pouilly-Fumé on the other side of the river has some fantastic examples. This single vineyard is the family’s most lauded wine.
